Santa Maria Sun Article

Pick up a copy of the Sun this week! Here's a peak at the article:

Elementary, dear readers
A Santa Maria teacher pens Sherlock Academy, a mystery book with a Sherlock Holmes theme
BY SHELLY CONE

Sherlock Academy is a chapter book for children 8 to 12 years old that follows the adventures of Rollie and his friend Cecily as they learn how to be detectives by solving a real-life mystery.
Farah Shaw finds it hard to resist a good mystery. And her favorite has always been that quintessential detective, Sherlock Holmes—so much so, she’s written a series based on the king of deduction.
“I wanted to write a book that re-introduced this generation of readers to Sherlock Holmes,” she explained. “I wanted to write about a hero who solved crimes based on his own ingenuity and logic.”
